Greetings Fellow Epsilon Mu Members!

Last year, we inducted several new enthusiastic graduates and nurse leaders into our Epsilon Mu Chapter of STTI.  This year we hope to increase our numbers at our Founder's Day and Induction Celebration on Saturday, November 2, Staten Island Hilton Garden Inn from 11:30am - 3:30pm.  The cost is $55 per person, RSVP by September 7.  This is a reunion to bring old and new  members together to network.  We have an exciting program.  Aside from welcoming new  members at a beautiful ceremony, our guest speakers are 'Attitudes in Reverse.' They are heartwarming and carry a powerful message that we all need to hear and spread!  Please mark your calendars!

We are in need of members to join and help on our Board.  Please do not be afraid.  I know that sounds ridiculous, but that is what is commonly expressed to me.  We are all professionals and nurse leaders.  We are volunteering to help others and that includes helping others within our own society.  Help out in some way and let an officer mentor you so that you will feel comfortable taking a position at some point. You may find this mentoring is helpful in your job, your PTA, or another voluntary organization.  Please consider...contact me jean.fazio@wagner.edu. We need you!

Has everyone paid their dues??? Dues reminders are sent online.  If you have not received one, please call STTI @ 888.634.7575. If you are not paid up, you will not be allowed to participate in elections, hold office or receive timely communications from STTI...and you can do all this at your computer.  When was the last time you logged onto nursingsociety.org? Don't know your password? It is easy...here's how! Go to nursingsociety.org, click on membership on the top and in the next frame, click on 'my membership.' There is another place to click once again on 'my membership.' Your name will appear and you can download a copy of your membership card (it has your password on it)!  This site allows you to change your password or edit your information, especially if you move or transition from student to RN status.  Call 888.634.7575 for questions/assistance. The site has listed information regarding Biennial Convention, conferences, workshops and webinars.

The Circle, STTI's professional networking site, has many exciting opportunities for members. To learn how to get started, please visit http://thecircle.nursingsociety.org/gettingstarted. You will need to sign in with your email address and STTI password.

If you forget your password, your seven-digit member number will always work.

Epsilon Mu is a chapter of the much greater STTI.  Utilize some of what it has to offer.  Utilize some of what it has to offer.  I have participated in some of the webinars.  They are extremely informative and some do allow for interactive participation.  Professionally, STTI is a great resource!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on November 2!
